J13.09.01 Vad De Graaf Generator
This mid-size static machine can generate an electric potential of tens of thousands volts for a variety of electrostatic experiments. The charge is transferred from generator to the metallic dome, surrounding the upper pulley, with the helpof the motor driven rubber belt and two metallic combs. To reach high voltages, the lower portion of the sphere is smoothly inturned. Comes with a shock-proof power switch and a spherical discharger.
