J17.02.01 Low Temperatur Stirling Engine Model
Description and Notes

Stirling Engine was invented in 1816 by London pastor Rober Stirling. It is unique and amazing design, cause its efficency is almost equal the theoretical maximam efficiency, known as "Carnot Cycle Efficiency". The Stirling Engine is heated by gas expansion, contraction and cold produce power. This is an external combustion engine, the fuel to burn continuously, expanding the air (or helium or hydrogen) as the media so that th piston movement, expansion of gas cooling in the cold chamber, repeated for this cycle.

J17.02.01 Low Temperatur Stirling Engine Model

Stirling engine is an external heat engine which is a hot piston heat engine with the cycle closed outside.
Principlle:It makes power through thermal expansion and cold compression of the gas .Expansion of the gas makes power to force the piston move, and then the gas cools in the air-conditioned room.Again and again for this cycle.
This model is the best demonstration equipment for Carnot Cycle. Also it is the best presentation equipment which can covert thermal energy to kinetic energy and then to electrical energy.
Flywheel and brackets are connected by high-precision bearings.

Safe Boot Steps:
1. Put the engine model on the horizontal position.
2. Gently turn the flywheel to check the flywheel rotates smoothly or not and if there is a strong sense of jerky, you should check the connecting rod. Then gently turn the flywheel until the flywheel rotates smoothly.
3. Join hot water in the container, and put the model of great circle on the container(or on the other heat which does not exceed 100℃).After a few seconds, we begin to struck the flywheel gently until it can automatically rotate.
Safety and Step:
In the end ,we should discard the water to avoid accidentally knock.
Notes:
Children should be cared by adults to use the engine model, in order not to be burned or hert by broken glass.
